Welcome to Summer Season!

----------

A Belated "First Week" Edition

Hello, and here we go again - it's time once again to welcome you to the new season and remind you of several things you should already know, but we're going to mention them again, anyway. Due to mechanical difficulties, last week's newsletter was not what it usually is, but now we're back to speed and ready to rock.

READ ALL OF THIS!

New Players: All player who were not listed on the roster turned in at the Registration meeting must have the approval of the Executive Board and must have paid their player dues in full before they throw Dart One in League play. Penalties can be severe for illegal players. (See news story, top of column.)

Packet delivery to the Park: As a convenience to the teams playing in the Park-area bars, packets for those teams will be delivered to Ray's Elbow Room on Tuesday evenings, usually around 7:30 p.m. Winning team Captains must still return those packets to The Down Under Pub no later than 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

Or you can fax you sheet to us: The fax number for the Statistician is 683-1661. Please use the highest resolution your machine is capable of sending! Don't forget to fax us both sides!

Score sheet Hall of Shame: Pay attention to your score sheets and don't make dumb mistakes. Losers always throw a number of darts evenly divisible by three. Both players' dart totals are with three. Fill in Cricket grids neatly and completely. When you mess up, use the back of the score sheet to clarify your mess.

Out-of-Division Matches: Technically, these score sheet need not be returned unless the teams want credit for the Match and their Perfect Throws and Fast Games. We would like to see them returned anyway, just to keep track of all the teams.
